I know the trail and I don't mean to be a pessimist, but I don't care if you're Jimmy Lewis or David Knight, you will be using your spot if you try it on a 950. Forgive me if that is negative, but unless you have a few guys and a week to do it, a 950 is just too big.

Sorry, if I was negative, I just know what that trail is capable of. And I'm not doubting your skeelz either. Didn't you see my helicopter ride video in the other thread?

And on the Beemer comment... You should know that I'm not one of those larrys... I've got the photo proof that I actually do ride mine in proper off road. Give me a little credit. Sheesh.

Well, I rode with you once. Not very challenging terrain but I think you won't get hurt. And if you stay on the main trail I don't think you can finish. Starting from the Tahoe side it doesn't get tough until the sluicebox. Ride in down Caddy and cross the bridge then see how you feel.

To Riceless a 'no' is as a red flag to a bull.

"Hey Brent, I don't think you can make it"

Word spread fast on the trail

That there was a group of big bikes and one crazy guy was on a 950

well now there is no more speculation about doing the rubicon on a big bike

riceless950 is now a rubicon legend

great trip so far resting tonight still unsure of 3 riders in the group we are hoping they are ok

full ride report soon

Have you done this trail? Sorry to sound negative, but my point was to impart just how difficult it is- unless in the last 2 years they dynamited more obstacles, or Brent went on some bypasses that I don't know about.

Either way, I'm glad to hear he made it through and hope there are some action shots.

How boy's... some of us.. them.. and maybe me are just try'in to have some fun. The fact that it's a hard ride only makes it better.
Now for some good pic's and a beer
