Just wanted to say that this 350 of mine damn near the perfect enduro bike. Love the way it handles and makes power. The more I ride it the more I love it, everyone who has ridden it has come away extremely impressed. Riding tomorrow and another friend is itchin to get a test ride.
If your on the fence take the jump, you will be impressed

Beta: 2012 vs 2013 ?
I've finally come (back) to my senses, and am looking to get another Beta. I had a 2009 450RR, and loved it - and in a moment of madness, sold it last year
!As she'll be doing dual-sport duty (riding on average 50-100 km on the road to get to the trails) - I think the 450RR is the perfect size. I'd appreciate any info my fellow Beta riders could provide re the 2012 vs 2013 models. As these bikes are quite rare, I'll likely be forced to buy new, but as we'll be together for many years, I'm OK with that. Thanks ! |

Beta 2012-2013 tank options ?
Looks like there is a larger tank for the 2012 RR models (part # AB-12027), anyone know if this fits the 2013 as well ?
Thanks. |

Just picked up a 2012 350RR !
Need to do some maintenance - get her ready for dual sport duty, but will report back once she's had her maiden voyage ! |

520RS mpg?
I’m heading to the dealer tomorrow with check book in hand to look at a 2012 520RS . I’m coming off a CA plated 02 XR650R that got 40-42 mpg consistently no matter what type of terrain I was on, or how I used the throttle. Do any of you know what kind of mileage I can expect from the 520RS? This is a California model.
Thanks P.S. If I buy, I'll be back soon for mod advice. Thanks in advance! jcshew screwed with this post 02-19-2013 at 09:37 PM |

520RS mpg

With the 6.9 gallon tank on my XRR, I and can ride a 250+ mile loop without having to stop for gas. I'd like to have a good idea what the mpg is for the 520, so I can plan my rides. I know the mpg depends on speed and terrain, but if anyone can give me an average mpg, I’d appreciate it. I don’t understand the manufacturers sell their DS bikes with those itty bitty 2 gallon tanks! |

I was consciously riding one gear higher when I could in order to conserve fuel. Your results may vary.

As other than displacement, there's little difference (weight, height, suspension are the same, although the 350 has titanium valves, more compression), the 450 is crucial for me, as I ride the tarmac to get to the trails. |
