Course Change

My TE250 is for sale up at Taskys in Everett.

Got a super sweet deal on a Xchallenge, and I am obliged to adhere to a one-bike-in, one-bike-out policy...

I'll have a TE again someday!

Rob

Sorry if this is 205. I just saw on the Husky site that the '08 is not street legal. WTF? Only the 610 is still street legal. So I guess I gotta find an '06 or '07.

Yep, don't know why anyone would think they aren't

That was a bit confusing. They only list the 610 as Dual Sport, and call the others Enduro. Also, I was not able to spot the blinkers on the pics of the TE250. Now I see the page where it says "DOT Legal". Damn, they used to make a big point of it being street legal. Now no mention of it in the description. Huh.

Yup. But you can still buy my '06 if you want to.

Really wishing I'd had THE TE250 in the silt of the Millican Plateau instead of my Xchallenge. All my initial reasons behind buying the TE were correct. Wish I could keep it.

OK, I guess it's confusing now, since they don't have the giant banner page like they did in '06
The pics are Euro versions without the blinkers, etc.

I doubt they would go backwards, since KTM copied them and made *their* bikes street legal (no 250 though).

Best place for Husky info

Hey Guys...

Dropping a hello to this cool forum from Singapore! I just got my 2005 Husky TE250 Converted to a Motard Setup and will be bringing down to track, just would like to check if there are lowering springs available for front and back online? This bike beats my DRZ400SM hands down on weight and torque even though its just a 250...(stock vs stock)

Please don't do that unless you're only riding on the track.

My TE in some shoal pits in PA. Just got it buttoned back up with the 300 kit. Now my clutch line is weeping out of the metal to hose crimp down by the slave before the 90 degree turn. Besides the assorted problems the bike is great.
