Acerbis rally pro installation?

I bought a used pair off EBay with no instructions. It looks straight enough, ecept for a couple of questions:

1) What are the long oval (rounded rectangle) washers for?
2) I assume the rubber sleeves go over the part that goes in the bar end?
3) The guards themselves are a little different, one has an extra tab about 2x3, is this the driver side, I assume they only go one way.

Anyone have any pics of their installation?

'Don't know - neither of my two sets of Rally Pros had them or any other brand I've owned for that matter.

Yes, if you have steel bars, no for (thicker walled) aluminum bars.

Driver side ? How about the right side. The tab adds some protection for the master cylinder.

I looked for quite a bit for different levers for mine (2003 DR650) but just ended up removing the ball-ends.

Mike

Sorry I don't have any good pics of mine available.

The good thing is, your damn motor can't read. If it says oil on the container, it's pretty much OK to dump in there.... ED.

Ah yes, thanks for the link. Do you think the ATV extensions would work without having to cut the levers?

You could move the guards up or down to clear the levers, replace levers, in most cases cutting the balls off did the trick
