R51

Encountered this by accident many years ago, the first I'd heard of Rustic Roads. Many are not quite this rustic.

Ha ha! Yes indeed!

91 changes very quickly. Your pic is at the start of it, a short ways along it turns into gravel, and there is a pretty good hill on it as I recall.

Hell, I'll have to go back and check it out again myself.

RR51 - very much a favourite of people hereabouts as you know, and a handy dandy location. Get_Bent and I rode it with a chap who was riding a BIG Suzuki Cruiser, he really had no problems at all.

It is true that several of the RRs are just town streets, and are disappointing, but there are some really fun unpaved ones through forests. I enjoyed 91 a lot - it surprised me when we got into it (Rode it with Get_Bent on July 4th 2011).

RR50...........'tis the sandy one. Be ready for that.

I road all the rustic roads on a full on street bike.

But, I also road a lot of gravel at the rally on a K100 RS with 17" SM tires.

Don't let them scare you.

The worst were not 51 or 50..... They were the ones who had just been graded and were 4" of smooth loose gravel!!!!

Very true.

The splashes going through the puddles on 51 are quite fun though.

Even more fun is a smartly executed pass as someone else enters the water crossing! Bwahahaha!

I shall have a very excellent time choosing the correct location for it.

Cheers Powershouse!

Get out there and ride the Rustic Roads guys, it really is worth it.

According to the website, there is a R114. I rode it today, although the signs aren't up yet. It's all unpaved, and lots of fun.

Got up to RR109 and RR113 today. 113, being pretty new, still does not have signs. 109 could use some help as parts of them seem to be missing. The wind going up there was a bitch but riding some pretty decent "trails" in the Chimaquain-Nicolet National Forest made the trip up from Chicago worth it.

Start of RR109

Start of RR113. I will still have to go back when there is a sign up.

Rr 110

Did RR 110 in the rain, Saturday....might as well. LOL Watch the fresh laid black pea gravel. Makes for an interesting ride and it's on 4 out of the 6 miles.

I rode about 300 cold, windy miles yesterday and grabbed 5 Rustic Roads. It was mostly paved, but did ride some gravel and dirt.
RR82

RR 106

RR 104

RR 22

RR 72

Five Rustic Roads in five separate counties. Although it was too cold and windy to stop and enjoy the scenery, it was very nice going through the White River marsh area, Horicon Marsh, and the Kettle Moraine area on the way back north.
