Friday I had an opportunity to go and re-do some of the roads that I have done that did not have signs the last time I was on them. Out of the five I road only two had signs this time. I did 75, 81, 35, 88, and 30. Only 75 and 88 had signs this time and the last time I rode all of these roads was back in 2010.

Here is 75

and 88

Two more on my list of the Rustic Roads to do that did not have signs last time I was on them are 47 & 92. Both are just a little too far to go from Chicago in one day except if I hit the express ways. Does anybody know if the signs have been replaced? Google maps street view shows exactly what I have from 2010.

Here they are from last time I was there.
47 by Tigerton on one end and Wittenberg the other

and 92 by Riverfalls

81 had a sign in 2012

88 didn't, so it's cool to see they've put that one back.

Thanks! That is good to know about 47 & 92. I may schedule a ride for next weekend up there.

All that are left on my list are 108 & 114, which I have not been to yet. 113 which I was at last fall and no signs were up yet as it was still pretty new and 47,92,81,35 and 30. I'll try to hit 108 & 114 when I go up to CADVR in August.

Good stuff, I'll look for you at CADVR.

I haven't done 114 yet either. When I did 112 it didn't have a sign, I see since it has one now, that I can go back.

I too want to get them all with a sign. Could be a while, it takes some of the counties a while to get around to replacing them.

Getting a shot will all of the signs is my goal too. Eight signs left for me, I doubt that 113 & 114 will have signs up for a while they way they seem to work, just a hunch.

I was reading on the web site the other day and I think you can report that they are out but the county/locality will have to put them up or something like that. I was on the train reading it on my phone so I may not have read that correctly.

That's my understanding. The local jurisdiction is responsible for getting the signs and putting them up. Doesn't hurt to report them, though.

I was just coming here to see what people were doing to report missing signs. Was out riding this morning in Racine County, tried to hit 30 and the signs are missing, pretty sure I tried getting it last year too. But email sent on the Rustic Road website to report it.

One more for me and I'm at 25! Planning a trip to get some of the ones in the northeast this summer, hopefully family will put me up for the night ha.

WI Rustic Road Century

114 has its signs. The county are diligent, all 3 points where it joins the main highway have a number sign, with good signage along the rustic road, and good signage for locating it.

I got out today for my first assault on the Rustic Roads this year. My last RR adventure was late October and the weather was about the same today. It was about 60 and windy. I started with a demo ride on an Indian at Tytler's Cycle south of De Pere. It has been a BMW dealer for about ten years and they have had Victory for about four. Now they have Indian and they will have Ducati beginning in July. It will be a great asset for the motorcyclists up here. The Indian was comfortable to ride and was at its best for the three or four miles we rode on US 41. They are selling them pretty well there and I hope it continues to go well for them.

Then I headed west toward New London and grabbed the three RRs in Waupaca County and the one in Portage County. I ate lunch at the Woods in Waupaca and it was a good place to stop.

Jon, if that's an Olympia AST, that is the same jacket I got from my beloved for Xmas. So far I really like it.

Glad to see more people getting out now. I've got a First Gear Jaunt 2, not an Olympia.

Rustic Road 115 announced

I was browsing the WDOT site today and noticed that RR115 has now been put up. It is near Delafield.
