Airhawk Seat Pad

Hi, here we have a brand new and unused Airhawk Seat Pad.

It is the plastic one, small which currently retails at 79.99 (Busters)

I bought it last year to go on my 640 on a trip down to the Alps, but my short legs could not cope with the added seat height so i never used it and its sat in my shed ever since

Shall we say 50 quid including postage (within UK)

Bike is totally sorted - under 9k kilos from new. Bought off a dealer in Norwich less than 1k kilo ago - they did a full service on the bike so everything is fresh(adjusted cam chain, checked valves, replaced all fluids, etc.). This has the same dual sport oriented 577cc lump & wide ratio 6 speed as the current models (minus FI of course) - but mine also has kick & elec start! Taxed through the end of the year, but I think it needs an MOT soon (will pass no problemo).

In London - asking 2500 GBP with all the farkles (I'm in about 3,000) - open to offers and/or trade for GS, KTM ADV, or maybe even a Transalp, WeeStrom, Honda Pan Eruro or BMW tourer. Looking to stay under 4k total though...

Farkles

17l Acerbis safari tank - VERY RARE - had to source this one from OZ. Last one I saw for sale in the states went for like $700+!!! Mine does have a few scratches and a part that was previously plastic welded, but throw some new decals on and you'll never notice

TechnoFlex rear shock - These husky's were notoriously soft from the factory. HM Racing replaced the stocker with the TechnoFlex plus heavier spring (for 200+ LBS rider) which has adjustable rebound, damping, preload, everything. Also has heavier front springs and with fresh oil. (work was only a few weeks ago).

Carb Jetting - Also done by HM Racing. Not sure exactly what jets they used, but the dealer in Norwich definitely had her running rich. Runs like a top now and I have Dyno charts to prove it! (also done by HM a few weeks ago).

WRP fat bars and risers - medium bend and all blacked out - looks nice.

Included but not fitted - original shock & tank/shrouds, Acerbis hand guards. Negotiable - SatNav Garmin 2610 w/ CityNav v7 & power lead for hardwiring.

Shoot me a PM!
Gonna throw out a last chance deal here... 1,200 with stock tank & shock.

Returning the bike back to stock tomorrow morning as it's going to get traded in if I don't sell to an Inmate or Tosser (from ukGSer). PM me soon if you're interested...

MUGZ!

Yamaha TT250R for sale

I am selling my Yamaha TT250R, it is a great little bike but I really want another DR350 so I have decided to sell it.

I bought the bike last September from a Honda dealer near London and have done less than 500 miles on it, that has been mostly commuting to work and two trail-rides.

2004 Yamaha TT250R
1,990 miles
MOT until 8th December 2009
Taxed until end November 2009
Service book with one stamp

The bike is standard apart from the following;

it has the fittings for a Ventura rack system (but the rack is missing)
Yamaha TT-R 250 motorcycle luggage, hard soft motorcycle luggage, racks, touring luggage | Ventura

I have had the seat profesionally re-foamed and re-covered as a previous owner had chopped it down and it was awful.

I have replaced the pilot jet with a larger one and it runs much cleaner now.

The bike is in good condition but there are the odd marks and bare patches on the paintwork associated with trail-bikes.

This bike has done hardly any mileage and will last someone for a long time.

TE610e

The husky is on hold for the weekend. However, the gent is looking at 3-4 other bikes, so not 100% sold yet.

Not trying to make waves here, only "bumped" when I dropped price and to update that it might be sold. UPDATE - other fella wound up going for a KTM 450, so the Husky IS STILL FOR SALE. PM for if you'd like to come take a look.

And for your troubles, I'll share a little deal I just picked up on a Zumo 550. After looking around, it seemed that 450 quid is the going rate for a new, non refurb unit. However, all of those places were online and even Halfords doesn't keep them in stock. The only place I found one in stock was at ASK on Tottenham Ct Rd - sticker price 499. After a little chat, they agreed to meet Halford's price at 450 including VAT. Not to bad if you ask me, and I'm sure they have more!

Again, apologies for flogging the husky but I honestly wan't shamelessly trying to bump - just update interested peeps on price drops.

Sorry if this seems like a bump but it is not intended to be, as my ad is buried deep back in this thread. Also it is still in warrantly until 2010, not 2009 as I erroneously posted.

I have significantly reduced the price of my X-Challenge to 4250 ovno. This price includes some very good extras, not for sale separately.

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showt...=313161&page=6

Bike not for sale to anyone who previously tried to drive the price down rather than propose an offer for sensible dicsussion and consideration; additional 12 service charge for members of UKGSer

Testing the water so to speak here.

Got a KMX 200 that's surplus to requirements. It's scruffy. It's been green laned mercilessly by my wife. It's been dropped several times. The plastics are scratched. The handlebars are bent, the front mudguard is cracked. The waterpump seal needs replacing. It's got a brand new rear tyre (MT21) and a shoddy old front tyre. It's currently declared SORN and has no MOT. The engine was rebuilt totally (sleeved cylinder, new main bearings, new exhaust valves, new piston etc) about 1000 miles ago due to broken rings.

I'm thinking that if someone gave me 500 quid for it I would fit straight handlebars and do what's neeed to get it an MOT. Is that a fair price? Is anyone interested?
