Around 46-50 in mixed use...riding to Central Mexico for a week on March 15th, so I'm hoping to get over 40 loaded down a little. Everything is stock, but I may switch to a slip-on & jet kit for better response, a little more grunt, smooth out a flat spot at an (indicated) 65, and better gas mileage. It has 1000 miles and no issues to date. Dealer performed exhuast bolts under warranty. My first KLR after many DR's and very happy so far...

A little over 50. Pretty consistent but most of those were near sea level on relatively flat ground, unloaded. I weigh 210.

I consistently get 55-59 mpg. But I weigh 146# and ride like an old fart, backroads at 45-55, almost never any highway for extended periods.
7,700 miles on mine so far. |

My reserve comes on consitenly at the 200mile mark so I"m only getting around 40mpg.
Hum, guess the ammo cans are not very aerodynamic.
