I'm hoping I can swing a set of motard wheels for my TE 610. I think I'll have VSM hook me up with some real lights too.

The roads were not too bad, some sand in a few spots near the yellow and white lines and only two areas with a little water flow across the road up near the top cattle guard. One of the guys who was following me down the mountain low-sided his R6 but thankfully he was able to walk away and finish the ride with about 900 dollars worth of damage to left fairings on the Yamaha.Weirdo....THAT IS GONNA BE ONE SICK TARD! Sweet! PlanB; Here is where I got my SM kit, they might carry stuff for the Husky: http://www.motostrano.com/supermoto.html RIDE ON!

I posted that we went up the West side on my ride the other day. I was wrong...It was the South side which is the route we went up and down a few times before going back up and then down the East side. The guys in the video are much faster than I would dare to go since I'm an SM noob...I don't have to prove anything to anybody so I ride with courtesy and caution.
Here is a video of SM action up the South side known as the "Tight side" on MT. Palomar that I found and wanted to share here.

I can get a set of wheels for my 640ADV. I don''t want to muck around with suspension heights etc but would like to know how do they handle on the 17" wheels. Not sure but I may be able to do a test run. Comments appreciated.
Its an '05 so already had double disks at the front etc. so no need for bigger disk. |

Here is a link to a place you can get wheels or at least look at the options available:http://www.motostrano.com/wheelstires.html If you SM your Katoom you will fall in love with it all over again once you hit some twisties! As far as handling goes, you are going to be quite surprised, SM's RULE! Quote from Bike World regarding SM's; "These hooligan machines make excellent city-goers and can dismantle a tight and twisty canyon quicker than pretty much anything out there" Good luck!
