Laugh Pics 1990 PD

OK Great, thanks for the clue...I sorta knew it was there, but I'm crawling at this point. I'll get better. Bike is in great shape mechanically, just needs a good going over, cleaning & a little new paint maybe...

Not quite part of this thread, but it is sortof.
What size front disc is on the GSPDs that have the caliper upgrade?
My 1991 has a 285mm( 11" ) Looking at an article on what I believe to be 1992 or 3 model, looks like it is bigger?? I know it appears to be a floating disc.
Is mine the wrong size for the caliper upgrade?

All you experts, please help.

Dude, start your own thread!

Check the part number(s) using the on-line parts fiche (sp?) at max bmw.

Iknow I should start my own thread, but this one has run off the rails, so I thought it wouldnt matter.

I checked the Max site, and yes they are a different p/n. This could be because of one fixed, and the other a floater.
Can someone "please" measure there later disc for size? Pretty please??

No pix, but helicoiled the batt neg/trans vent bolt hole last night... no problems

scraped the battery box in prep for a coat of paint to get me through a riding season or two before powdercoating....
