I might be able to make it out on Saturday morning. There are a couple of roads I‘m interested in Checking out before I take the wife on them. They are north of Castle Hot Springs. I am hoping the wife and I can use them to ride to Crown King and the Senator Highway into Prescott. That would shorten the pavement ride for us to get up North.

Just rode most of the roads there and know the area well. What route are you wanting info on and what bikes are you considering them for?

I would not recommend Crown King until about April. Might be a little slippery. We did this ride about 3 weeks and two storms ago. Might be worse after last nights storm.

I ride a DR650 and my wife has a DR350. I want to ride Walker Gulch up to Minnehaha. I rode most of the way 2 years ago but wasn’t sure I had the gas to make it back if I was wrong. Also, I here there is a road from the Minnehaha area that connects to the back way to Crown King road but bypasses the tougher part.

What a tease.

I'm still doing repairs. You guys should check out the March 1-2 Chiricahua trip that we're planning HERE.

Just rode from home up through Walker Gulch last Sunday then did the cut over into Ryland and on up to the wagoner road. Ate dirt twice on the cut over. It IS NOT KLR freindly at all. The rest of them are in good shape and yes there is an easy way to the CK road but its easy to miss.

If the weather holds, I'm going to ride south from Prescott tomorrow and make my way to the valley for the night. Then Sunday morning I'm going to head out to the Harescrambles. My route is undecided as of now, anyone want to join?

JC and I plan on a simple Dirt/Twisties trek on Sunday. We are going to be leaving C4 at 9:15am heading out 7 Springs then out Bloody Basin. From there slabbing it to Presoctt or Jerome for Lunch. After lunch 89A to 74. Kural is planning on joining us for the Dirt part, but will have to bail once we get back to pavement (where Bloody Basin meets 17) . Of course anyone is welcome to join us!

I'm stuck in N. Phoenix thru the end of April without my X bike that's in the Northwest. Have fun guys.

Maybe I'll just check out the performance driving school down here to keep me occupied. I don't even have any of my gear to at leat wear around the house. LOL I guess I could rent, but I like my own gear, and bla, bla, bla. Post pics when you guys return. I want to see what the roads are like around here.

Nice, there should be some nice water crossings! Two weeks ago I went down throught there and it was getting deep, I'll bet now it'll be even higher. Take pics!
