Goodbye and good luck

Dear all, I just wanted to thank all of you for your help and support during these years as a BMW owner. I have recently decided to transfer to the dark side and get a KTM 990 . I just sold mine last Wednesday and place the oder on the KMT that same day...
I have enjoyed reading posts here, I believe this forum is a great source of knowledge and experience, you have all been great with me when asking for advice.
All the best and ride safely!
Martin

We'll wait, patiently, for your return. We know you'll be back.

Ride safely while you're away.

Congrats my man!..I went the same way once and I love KTM's. Power out the butt and they have a certain cache GS's just don't have.
It helps if you are tall and have brass balls.

You're gonna love it!

Mike

I think the 990 is pretty sweet. My brother had a 950 that I loved to ride.
When I get tempted to switch, I think of the services Id have to learn and the lack of local dealerships. Also they look like cop candy, I think Id get tickets riding those bikes

Like Thinc2 said they're both cool and great bikes.
That's why I now have both!

there's more KTM owners hating on GS's
and fewer GS owners hating on KTM's (my unofficial research)

both are good, but now you'll know both languages and have that experience to ride with.

I like them both for different reasons. I'd marry one and have an affair with the other but I won't tell you which.
