Thaks for the comments guys

lets contine... we were heading to Gambia...

Welcome to Gambia

we have great ferry services...

with special places to transport you bikes...

and confort seats for you..... all the way across Gambia River...

Banjul, our capital is the pearl of west Africa...

and our police officers also drive BMW's

Actually we did not enjoy our stay in Gambia, we were robbed in the customs office when we entered, they really ask dolars for every stamp, and they have stamps for everyting, 10 euros for this, 15 euros for that, 20 euros for visa.... Visa, but Europeans do not need visas.... you pay you go... thats the anwser for every question we make...

at teh end of the lonnnngggggg process I sadly said to the customs officer, " I do not know wow we can pay for the ferry to Banjul.... we gave you all our money.... she smile and gave back to me 25 euros.... that's enough for the ferry, in Banjul you have ATMs.....

1 km after the border we were stoped in one police Check point, let's see all your documents.... you need a stamp.... it's 10 euros for each bike.... you pay you go....

you pay you go my ass, you motherf/(%(/&$/&%#%/$&#&%%$(& and I passed the next 10 minutes insulting the police officers laudly.... I have to say that is not very smart to insult guys with shotguns in the midle of West Africa, but I whas really furious and did not think...

besides that small detail, it worked sorry sir, you can go, you can go... please be calm... you can go...

We stoped in Banjul to eat someting and we where robbed again for each meal we paid 15 euros... we all decided to get out of this country asap...

so Senegal again, this time Casamance region in the south...

we decided well, this reagion is beauthiful...

the tracks are funnnnnntastic

and you really start to feel in the tropics

there is a civil war happening in Casamance, but if you stay in the safe areas there's no problems.. the people is very friendly...

always smiling and happy to receive us..

we really enjoyed this region...

We spend the night in small villages thet organize themselves and buid in every village one typical house like this

to rent to travellers, it's perfect, you really fell the ambiance of the village...

included in the price is the sunset...

and fresh shadows

look at the sise of this tree

we were really in the tropics, it whas very hot an we decided to refresh with on swim in the Casamance river... but first we had to find the way to reach the water

we saw some crocodiles and we change idea

but it was also fun

we even meet some new friends

In this region there are a lot of rivers to cross, and safety is mandatory

at least most of the times

Tomorow we will go to Guinea..

It's one Fromager, the giant tree they use to make the long canoes typical in africa.

they are really impressive, and are considerated sacred also, together with the baoba tree (in the next image) they give that special atmosphere to the landscape

Just beautiful. Nicely edited photographs & video. (yeah, understatement).

What cameras do you use?
Any special tricks to keep cameras working?
