Hi, I'm Lobster. I'm not a Yooper, but I like pastys (please note these not the nipple coverings some strippers wear!). Also we take a few trips to ride the trails up der hey. I did fight off a pack of trolls by the bridge once though......

Not a resident, but I ride a lot up there and have a bunch of UP GPS tracks posted in GPS Central.
Yooper, are you joining us for this year's 1000 mile UP ride 11-15 June? Same deal as last year. Show up on the 11th, ride 12-15. |

Not sure if I will be able to join for the entire trip, but may be able to tag along for a day or two. PS...I ride over 1,000 miles in 'da UP every year...of course, I have never ridden any where else! |

Yo
Can ex-yoopers check in too? Grew up by the lift bridge in Hancock so I guess I'm native Keewanean. Gotten too civilized to crash around on bikes and shoot at random in most of my old stomping grounds.

Can I check in to?
I plan on riding the length of the Ya to do the UP Eh! on my return from SHOT in May. Provided the snow's off the roads by then. I promise to camp at least one night to ensure citizenship. |

If you don't mind the occasional patch of snow and ice between the endless stretches of mud, then sometimes as early as late March. Usually though, things start to dry up enough for some pretty good riding in April. Still plenty of mud and maybe a bit of snow, but passable. Best part about riding then is there are no bugs yet! |

51st State? Why the hell would we want any part of a union that lets the likes of Wisconsin in? The People's Front of Superior would rather join Canada. They seem kind of cool. Askel (Surgeon General of the PFS and Director of Motorized/Unmotorzied Bicycle Machines in Liberated Territories) |

I'm a FIB but I've recently aquired some property in the UP about 20 miles South of Munising.
I'd say 98% FIB and 2% Yooper wanabee. I know you can never be considered a Yooper unless you were born there.

hub of the universe! I personally believe the the hub is some where between Blackwell and Wabeno,( about where my deer stand is) but I know better that to fight you over 6 miles.
