D00d, you can't just throw out a great bunch of pics like these and not tell us where they were taken!

Thanks for sharing them.

Your efforts are appreciated I assure you.

Except for the raging fire under my bum to get back down and see what's changed and what I missed last time.

Each one is a postcard!
What kinda camera do you have & did you take millions of shots to get the perfect shot or you have the eye already to get the shot?

Thanks Padmei, I used a Canon 7D SLR and took quite a lot of photos, deleted most of the not-so-good ones at the end of each day.

That's the good thing about digital, you can delete the ones you don't want and just keep the good ones

You could say I have an eye for it, I kinda know what I'm looking for so it's just down to experimenting with composition and lighting.

The hardest part is choosing where to take a photos from as there are SOOOOO many beautiful vista's in that part of the world ................

Cheers

Nice photographs Steve. Just back to Oz after a trip over there for a few weeks. Here's a couple of mine, one taken from the same place as one of yours at Kaikoura, I reckon, and the other at the Ohau Stream just up the road where you can reach out and just about touch these little buggers....

A very beautiful place....

Hey AdvNZer, was at Abel Tasman end of Jan/early Feb this year, perfect weather and was around 30 degrees in Nelson, really amazing place and certainly plan to get back there on a bike one day ..............

Cheers

Light and shade. Some good South Island Tussock looking down into the Wairau.

Stellar day heading home via the Molesworth last week.
