And for $2/head, is it really worth it?

Next time, my evil plan is to casually introduce myself and ask the guy what his name is. When it's not "Rick" I'll tell him I've been talking to Rick about buying the place ($2.5 million I hear), does Rick know he's taking $$ from passerby's in his name? Will it work? Heh, it's $10, what do I have to lose?
In my book $10 was cheap to camp there. It was a small price to pay to keep the locals happy. Far cheaper than pissing him off and paying him and his friends more a few hours later.

$10 was cheap, I didn't feel like we were being shaken down since it was a pittance....but if he'd asked for more, I was thinkin' we just tell him we paid at the store up the road already.

I still owe someone $2, don't I ?

A little more info on Campo Bahia Christina.
Enrique, nick name Kiki in spanish, Rick nick name in english.
I rode thru there this last week end.
Heres a larger picture.
When it was open they had very good food, flush toilets and showers.
Nice ride report.

And they only want $2.5 million.
We heard that even though it looks like a road will go through, the new road will bypass this place.
Got your ride report up yet? Linky?

At $10/person/night, that's a lot of dam people to make up the $$.

Isn't the business rule 2 years' worth of revenue or somesuch (I'm a computer g33k, not a business g33k)

Depends on if there is any real IP. 3 years usually, unless you are a consultancy or some form of head placement agency.

I rode right past the sign and never saw the price. Are you sure it was $2.5 million in USD?
I've been confused by the whole $$ = pesos thing before

But you know, even at 250 large it's not a screaming deal - even if a highway dumped people off within 100 ft.

If it's getting bypassed by the new road... buh-bye.

I have to be honest, I usually have to travel alone 'cause others are too slow, too whiny, too cheap, too rich, to stubborn, too quiet, too loud, too drunk, too teetotaller... You get the point...

Gregulator just absolutely made my week!!

He turned me onto Photoshop Elements, which SWMBO already has, and I have been able to, incredibly, eliminate the dates from some of the key pictures that had me so hot and bothered.

Just use the bandaid feature (J) and paint over it. You may have to play with it to get it right (in one case I had to do each # from R->L, in another I had to paint the whole thing w/ a brush 1/2 the height starting from lower left to lower right, up and to the left.)

WOW... I might even post them now that they're fixed.
