Sit Stay Ride: Sidecars, Dogs, and Inmates from ADV

Since most people don't frequent the hacks section, I figured I'd post up here. Eric and Geneva Ristau are filmmakers and members here on ADV. They just released a documentary called Sit Stay Ride: The Story of America's Sidecar Dogs. It features a couple of inmates from our region, and even more from ADV as a whole.

Please take a look and post up what you think. The movie is available via download or stream on Vimeo, BluRay, or on DVD at http://www.sidecardogs.com/buy-your-...sit-stay-ride/

Please check it out and post up what you think. I'm kind of partial since my family is in it, but we'd love some objective reviews.

All the dogs in the film are rescue pups, and proceeds from the film are going to support rescue organizations around the nation.

Just one question though... hope it's not stupid...
If I buy the digital copy, can I watch it more than once?

Absolutely. When you buy through Vimeo, you can download it, stream directly from their site, or both as many times as you wish.

Then don't watch this movie. It will make you actually go out and buy one.

For some reason my dog is absolutely not interested in riding in either of my hacks. The truck on the other hand she adores.

This could perhaps be the coolest movie ever made. I don't want a hack, I NEED a hack! This movie has made me scratch the KTM off the next bike list and replace it with a Ural.

The movie is really good!! I would love to see it on the big screen.

That commute is a bitch though.

east coast folks, and folks from all over - if you think you can get 50 - 100 seats to sell, why not host your own showing?

it's easy and free. you don't make any money at it, but that's not the point - you get a bunch of motorcyclists together for an evening, why not?!

just go to tugg and select the create an event button.

we hosted "On Any Sunday" in SF earlier this month and had a great turnout, sold out with 148 seats.

I had a local rescue trying to work it, but theaters were booked out until May 2015. Now I'm in full transient mode and not much help in organizing anything.

Hopefully some other organizations will pick it up and run with it.
