Good news (for me anyway). Went to the doc today and got a good report. Still wearing a brace but it is open up for full range of motion (I can get my right leg on the peg now). He says I'm probably putting 80% of my weight on my leg (enough to hold up the wee or dr). Now if Mother Nature will cut us some slack and give me some clear roads. I'd run a bunch of screws into the DR's tires but I don't think the better half would allow that. I'd be lucky just to get out the driveway with clear roads. Why do women always have to know best? And I know she knows best because she tells me so.

Come on SUN

I have the same problem here. All the wise people tell you to not use "never" and "always" in a sentence but I can say with confidence that my wife feels she is "always" right and I "never" am.

I will say though that when it comes to common sense and riding, women usually have the upper hand. I am sure emergency roon stats will confirm that.

Tammy and I have been to NE a few times on the Wing and last year to the new york rally race on the wee. Haven't discussed it yet but it's been a while since we've been to the smokies. Might head that way this year. Hope to travel more this year.

Monticello Utah, via the TAT. I would love to do the rest all at once, but can't string that much vacation.

My wife, daughter, and daughter-in-law will meet us each night. The plan is for them to take the truck and slide in camper.

Myself, son, and two close friends ride.

It's kinda tough to admit, but we haul the bikes to the AR border and back from UT.

How long do you expect that ride to take? From what I got to see of Utah, a person could spend a lot of time there and not get bored. Assuming you had transportation.

Now this is the perfect world, right?

1-1/2 days of haulin' to the AR border. 9 days of riding to Monticello UT. Three days of haulin' back. Two weeks of vacation, that's 16 days(man that feels good just to say it). That leaves three days for what?

The talk right now is to save them, assuming we don't screw up, and play in Moab UT. But, we are passing so much on the way out. We are all just awe struck looking at the possibilities.

im planning on doing the OK & NM sections of the TAT sometime this year. Maybe CO too depending on vacation days accrued. Planning on a long weekend in Sept to ride DS stuff in western NC east Tn as well. Other than that probably just some 3 day weekends of riding & camping in WV.

we are already planning a 2011 Divide ride + more depending on vacation. I would really like to take a leave of absence and do the divide North to south then head to baja for a couple of weeks but that probably wont happen.

Have fun in Nova Scotia, great riding there. I didn't get to make it to PEI, however.
