Book Work

Sounds like some time for book work to me Ryan. Make good use of the down time and navigate. JDMCOX and Google Earth are your friends. I like your spirit.

Glad you are okay, Ryan.

Is there something wrong with the KLR? I thought that was how they were supposed to look.

OK Ryan,I`m not a doctor, but I did play one on TV, and I say just paint your cast to look like a motocross boot and lets go get some pie.
There`s a lot to be said about ATGATT....glad everything is repairable including the leg.
Now heal up and so you can RIDE,RIDE,RIDE !!!

Through Douglas is how we get to the railroad grade trail in the canyon. The first gate is usually open and you can ride to the second gate, foot travel or bicycle from there. I have seen the road up out of Douglas and also the road halfway up the mountain, but have never gone on them (usually on the way to fish somewhere else). Thanks for the info. and will check it out next time, then the usual stop in Sirriani's for Rock's and pizza!

If you decide you don't want pizza in Davis, check out Hellbenders Burritos across the street from Blackwater Bikes. Good stuff there too.

Hey Ryan,

Glad to hear that it wasn't worse and you're doing okay. Just be sure to keep that ankle well elevated and well iced.

As to the KLR damage; I think that will buff out. If not, I'll give you $50 for the rear wheel.

Seriously though, now you can really mod it and not care what it looks like. Strip that heavy crap off the front, straighten the bent stuff and spend the insurance money on a 705 kit.

Not too bad, I did pull in some o/t for the 3 big trees that fell in town over the weekend.
Wind was the worse we have had in a while. Nothing like what they were calling for.

Hey Meef. Thanks for asking. I am doing good, going a little crazy from being stuck in the house but other than that all is good. Went to the doctor yesterday, had some more x-rays. The sweeling went down enough to put me in a hard cast. Doc says everything looks really good. Corey (Klrmikes son) came over and took the extras off the klr. Took it to the shop and its totaled. However I am going to buy it back and fix it myself. I def. got plenty of time to find good buys on parts.

Showing my true feelings on the situation.
