You gonna do a pavement run with us Sat?
Thanks for the invite, but we have plans to finish a scouting mission for a July tour. I'm coming your way soon I hope, maybe August. Hope to see you on this "pie" run soon.

Yea, might orta go down on one or up on the other on the DRZ. They have a tough clutch, but maybe not that tough.

WVCajun has finally found it

The thread, that is. I am in South Charley and ride a Gelande Strasse. Depending on where you guys go this weekend, I may or may not be able to meet up. My mother-in-law is in town this weekend from NY, so I will probably be expected to arbitrate and arguments between my wife and her.
Is anyone going to be near the Snowshoe area the following weekend - 6/13-15? I am going to be there for the weekend and am taking the GS - only to save gas. Golf weekend is the order but can sneak away for some riding Sat. Sun will involve a spirited ride home.
Good to find this thread. I will keep checking back. I don't have a KLR or know how to make the GS do like a KLR, etc, but I am very eager to learn. I plan on putting TKC 80s very soon. My biggest problem is not knowing which roads to take. I ride around and see "interesting" roads, but am too scared to take them unless I know they won't lead me to the front door of some Mary-J farmer zealous in the tradition of banjo music (insert your own squeeling sounds). :ymca Not my cup-o-tea.

Later,
wvcajun

Might be up for a day ride in your area this coming weekend, you gonna be around?

I might be available, I'll give Neal a call tonight and see what he's up to.

The plan so far is the 4 of us leave Charleston and book it to Elkins, then to Davis for a bite to eat so I predict being in Davis around 10 to 11 am. Then we are gonna putt around to Seneca then down to Brandywine. Then find a local pub or back to Davis at the brewery to eat. Of course none of this is set in stone and I ride like I have ADD (look a butterfly, hey lets go that way)....
So I guess whoever wants to hook up and ride I will be at the hotel that has the restaurant before you hook into Blackwater (sawhouse inn I think) at 1030 to 1130 ish
3 GSs and a Valk

Alpine lodge thats it.
