I was still mounting tires at midnight

you dorks missed a good ride yesterday! I wish I could do a DS ride like that every sunday It was fairly dusty and a tad warm but super fun. There were enough short road sections between trails you could stand up and cool off so the temps were really tolerable.

I am in love with the 300, I still need to dial the suspension in a little but the engine is FANTASTIC!!!

glad to hear you are loving your new ride- I think the engine has a crisper feel then the KTM for sure!

I'm glad everyone had fun at Snowshoe & the gang all made it home safely

Buff'l have that bike sideways in a ditch & crossing creeks- all in due time. It's too purdy to scratch right now, and poor guy finally has a bike he can RIDE instead of work on & cuss at!

We never got too far away from Charleston

You should feel it on the dry settings with the different needle in the carb. Its definitely snappy now. I LOVE it Takes a lot different riding style than the YZ, there is definitely a transition period. I am so used to being completely on the tank and over the bars to get the YZ to turn, the Gasser takes a very neutral postion or it wants to knife in.

FYI to ALL-The Buckeyes totally have the DS rides figured out, right around 100 miles and I am guessing at least 80 was trail and singletrack. Thats exactly what I got the 300 to do and I smiled and laughed all day yesterday...

You're a lucky man!

Hope to ride with you (two) someday on the 950s... this coming from a guy who knows about "fast on KLR seems slow on 950"

cake, schmake- where's the beer?

This is exactly the type of riding I enjoy most. Looks like a blast! The trail looks to be in excellent condition.

Is your Gas Gas plated?
