Good question, dual sport, plated smoker or dirt bike? I'm assuming DS??? Let me know Chris, I need to change the oil and adjust the shifter on WR. If we aren't venturing off on a 100 mile day I may bring the gasser but it really needs resprung...

Asked a couple pages back but I think my post kind of got lost...

Anyone know of any trails/fire roads/gravel/single track/anything up by Slaty Fork/Snowshoe/Marlinton area?

Family member bought a cabin up there and I'm toying with buying a little dual sport and keeping it up there for weekend trail rides.

Thanks!

plenty of gravel and fire roads in the area, especially to the east. Almost everything in the surrounding areas is national forest and there are no OHV's allowed. No legal single track that I am aware, well not any large amounts. Maybe some bootleg atv trails here & there.

Well of course the tour guide will be there. He and I did a 65 mile loop mainly off road back in August and I mentioned the same loop. It looped around Witcher Creek and towards Cedar Grove. I dont think there is much black top. As long as we stay on the ridges I am fine, I dont want to do Blue Creek if we can help it.

Jess and I may do a Mason/Jackson ride and stay close to the house. If not I will drag the WR or gasser up. I really want to put springs in the gasser before i put more hours on it.
