Yep, those are high on my list too.
There are quite a few guys on Superduke.net with the Sharks.

They are pretty popular in the UK, that is where the site is based.
Makes sense because they don't sell SDs here anymore

I have been considering a shoei neotec or the Schuberth for travel and commuting since my Scorpion is getting old. Its hard to spend that kind of $$ on a helmet though. Just jump over to the equipment forum and read up on the schuberths. I was very suprised to read about so many problems on a $700 helmet. If I go with the flip up I will probably grab a Neo, but I really dont have a Shoei head, I definitely dont have a Shark head.

Some shark helmets are very very nice. My bud has a Shark MX helmet and its a quaility unit. Unfortunately they are just too much of a round fit for my long oval head.

If Anyone is looking for a decent budget helmet I have ZERO complaints with my Scorpion helmets. They fit me perfect and hold up very well. The shields dont fog and are pretty scratch resistant. For a $2-250 helmet they are durable and comfortable.

I absolutely LOVE my Bell MX helmets. They arent as light as the Airoh's but close enough and they are made very well. They come with spare cheek pads, a kick ass helmet bag and a spare visor. I went to AOMC to buy the super light weight Airoh, but I have dumbo ears and the ear pockets in them are TINY. Airoh=very nice.

WVhillbilly, the buffeting with your JR at speed is probably because it has a touring shell shape and your Icon has a race shell shape. The touring is set up for an up right postion like on your LC4, where a race shell is designed for a tuck position like your SD.

If anyone gets bored hop over on youtube and check out the Revzilla channel. They have very in depth reviews of almost any helmet on the market, they go into fit and shape fairly well.

In other news I got my RC51 running well last week. Its still ugly but it runs very very well. Paint and body are coming along but not fast enough for me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGmW...e_gdata_player

I sit pretty upright on the SD, it doesn't have as much of a sport bike seating position as you might think.
Otherwise my back wouldn't stand it long.

bholmes and I are gonna do a v twin, hooligan bike tour of WV in the spring.
We will post up the paypal account for our bail money. And if we get the GoPros back from the cops we'll have video.

Met the guy who started this in Northfork today

http://www.facebook.com/#!/EastRiver...Riders?fref=ts

He has the Ramsey School bar in Bluefield. Seems like an ok dude. He wants to hook up and do some ds stuff with guys from down in southern WV. Friend him if you want...

On another note, I was in Wally World and noticed a mag called Motorcycle Escape. On the cover it said something about Virginia dual-sporting. Being the savvy consumer that I am, I decided to check it out before buying it. Unbelievable... the article was actually about the Mon National Forest in WEST Virginia. The cover, table of contents, and the header on the article all had some reference to Virginia or "The Monongahela River Valley" . All were entirely incorrect. I was going to buy it for the contact info to "correct" them, but the rag was SIX friggin dollars. I guess you can't fix stupid...

Virginia, West Virginia. What's the difference

I worked with someone who kept saying I was from VA, and I kept correcting her.

Finally I said it's WEST VIRGINIA, they are 2 different states.

She gave me a blank look for a second, and asked "When did that happen?"

I told her 1863, but I guess you don't watch the news.

Some people's kids....

So, was today some secret Buckeye holiday I was unaware of?
Gabby and Dox stopped by but they were too early to see the new bikes that came in.
I'll just leave this here.
