So, I am the guy Gabby met on the Hatfield/McCoy trails. By the way, thank you for saying I was OK! LOL I bought a 2008 TE 450 and so far it has far more performance than I have ability. I hope to meet a few local guys/gals who ride. Let me know if anyone is in the southern half of the state and wants to go ride! Or join my facebook page "EastRiverAdventureRiders".

A real nice meander, it turns into Location Rd at the Tucker Co line.
It drops down to St George, then you can either cross the river and go to Parsons or continue to Horse Shoe rd.
This will take you past the 4H camp and National Forest camp ground, or thru Holly Meadows coming back to Rt 72 near Parsons.

If you go past the campground, you can go up Leadmine Mtn road and come out near the Fairfax sand plant.

I know a few other good rides there, but your passenger may not approve of them

Stemple Ridge is a great, slow scenic ride. I have ridden it from one end to the other (about 18 miles) and not passed one car.
This is near my family home. Beautiful ride and lots of great memories.

Then we are either related, or our ancestors used to shoot at each other.

Or both.

Nope, no secret holiday, other than some vacation hrs to burn. That was my friend Pat (bliz) with me not Dox. He turned me on to this site a fews years back. We've ridden thousands of miles together in the last 26 years....

Tell Pat to come on back, we'll keep a Husky on tap for him

She ain't much to look at, but she's got a great personality.

Here's the T-Dub that'll be coming up and staying permanently at my brother's cabin in Slaty Fork.

If you see me broken down on the side of the road, feel free to point and laugh, or better yet, if you want to ride up in that area, drop me a line!

GS for sale in WV

Just thought I'd give the local guys a heads up. My 95 R1100GS is for sale. Don't want to but need to.
I'd intended this bike to be with me for a very long time but its just not working out that way.

Dang man nice GS. What size gas tank does it have? I have thinking about picking up a R100 GSPD or a 1100 GS to hang a hack off of. I really like the white!

The plastic tank is 6.6 gal according to factory spec.

Price is negotiable.
