Love it. I had a 85 WR400. The last year with the dual rear shocks. Love the old Husky's

It's an '87. We really had to put a lot of new parts on this thing. Chain and sprockets, swingarm and bearings, repair spark arrestor, new intake manifold, air filter, all the hoses, and parts are hard to find for an older bike. But this bike is super fast and I think it will kill me or at least hurt me badly. Undecided what to do with it...........I thought I might use it on trail rides but this thing wants to go fast.........My friend Brian, who races a 500 Suzuki in the Vintage MX class, says it is competitive..........

Fired the 525 up last night to charge the battery, while it was there idling couldn't resist and took it around town for a little while, liked so much I ordered a new tshirts from you guys. Yep love the Orange koolaid. Is my shirt there? If so I will be by tomorrow.

We had to order the shirt but you can still stop by. I'm thinking hard about some of that Red Loolaid.

Click here for a quick idea. I couldn't remember exactly what extras you have but there's your starting point. It's a great bike, with lots of applications, shouldn't have a hard time finding a buyer, especially on ADVRider.

Don't mind him. Orange has always given him the shudders for some reason

They're both pretty great bikes! But personally for the below reasons, if I could just choose one to take home, it'd be the 690. And, no I don't have much, other than history and an LC4 love, to back that up. I really just get bigger warm fuzzies from that one ha!

Buy the machine for the job you want it to, and the one that puts the biggest on your face and you won't go wrong

I'm not saying looks are what a bike is about. But regardless of price, parts, reliability, functionality, etc etc, if you don't LIKE, bike nothing else matters. If you don't want the bike, it's just gonna get covered in dust. Different things make smiles for different people (for some it's looks, some suspension, some crave HP). But whatever gives you the grin factor, therein lies your choice IMHO YMMV.
