I have had decent luck with Lemon & barretts at Mineral Wells as well.
They also bought Devols shop on South side of Parkersburg. Big improvement.

Now if you go to the parts counter there are three guys there, two will be checking their phones and the other updating his Facebook.

I was done with the service department last year after I took the SD to get the water pump seals done.
I knew it was leaking, took it down and said fixed it.

They said it was fine, no leak and I was loosing coolant due to evaporation.
Odd how it only evaporated when I rode the bike, and then it "evaporated" into the oil.

Britt fixed it for me, said he had never seen the seals so far gone.
Odd thing is, after I had to add about a half pint of coolant to the tank on my first ride this year no more has "evaporated"
Oh, I know your bike then. Yeah, the seals were shot. Britt showed me. Lol. Bunch of useless guys in Morgantown.

Eggzactly

The bike sat at the dealers for a week, they didn't charge me but they didn't fix it.
I took it down, knowing what the issue and said fix it.

Not "look at it" just fix it please.

It won't go back there again.

I don't have time to wrench on shit, I don't mind paying for repairs if they are done right.

Don't think it should be that hard.

On another note, I might pick up an old Bianchi road bike with Campy components. Steel is real.
Say it ain't so! You can't turn into a campy snob!!

If I could sell the yz I would buy a titanium Salsa Warbird, but right now I'm leaning toward a Gunnar cx frame.

I used to ride campy, maybe that is why I have a orange bike
Gunnar's are nice frames. I know someone that might have a crosshairs he wants to unload. I can check if you want me to. The nice thing about that Bianchi is that I can run 28's on it. Fat tires for a fat guy. Maybe we can ride when we the bikes.

Thought this was a dual spotters forum. I would sooner expect a discussion on XC mountain bikes versus discussion on road bikes. Lol. Saw a dude straight up haulin on a road bike though on 50W at the I77 overpass last weekend.

Same deal with me. I called on a Tuesday and ordered some fork seals and dust wipers for my 640 Adv. I know I said at least 3 times that they were 50mm inside diameter because they are the old style, male slider forks. They said no problem, they would be in on Saturday. I stopped in on Saturday to pick them up and they were 43mm seals. The three of them pissed around for nearly 20 min trying to figure out the correct part, answering the occasional text and eventually said they didn't know what to do. Refund my money is a good start. I ordered the factory parts on eBay for $5 less. I might stop in there to try on a helmet but there is no way I'd spend any money.

The previous owner gave me a set of the incorrect seals with the bike so his dealer must suck too.

I have an awesome independent parts place now, and it's right in Kingwood.
I can get KTM factory parts cheaper there than anywhere I've found.

As for anything else, I search online and then call them and tell them what I want.
It will be there on Tuesday or Thursday depending on when I call.

The only thing they have not been able to get me is Amsoil,
So I just use an equally slippery and easier to find brand.

Good guys, have to do a lot of oddball part finding for me.
They order stuff for me no matter if they have ever heard of it or not.

Had them get me a Scott filter for the SD. Told them what it was and Rob calls me back.

"Is this right? $85 for an oil filter!"

Yep, that's it.

OK, it'll be here Thursday.
