I brought the 400 to work with me today. Installed the new harness, light bulbs, turn tech battery, estart button and changed bar position again. The stupid horn stopped working for some reason. Need to troubleshoot that tomorrow too.

I started tweaking the suspension a little. I think I need lighter front springs, it feels unbalanced. I guess I will swap the stockers back in but they are probably too soft. I want to see what it feels like with the big tank full, I only had about a quart in it. She has a Nasty headshake at 60 unless im up on the tank. Going to double check sag tomorrow, spoon on some new rubber and throw in the HD tubes.

The Carb is close enough for now. Will bring the front end right up with no clutch work at all. My clutch skillz are shot to hell, between a rekluse in the YZ and mainly riding the vstrom for the past year, its going to take some serious seat time to get back in the swing of things.

The thumper is smooth but I am 100% a two stroke guy. I miss that instant snap the 300 has. The 400 is very tractable, easy to pivot turn around trees and stuff.

Next weeks project will be the aluminum sub frame on the GG, new tires, and see if i have to swap back to stock springs.

Hard day at work I tell ya

I hope everyone had a great Christmas!

So is he getting rid of the 400 or is this an addition?

I've been sick the past few days so I've not planned on doing any riding.

Squeezed in a cold ass 60 miles with Wvridgerider today. The 400 is fun, lots of ice everywhere. Not sure the motoz rear tire will hold up real great. Definitely a good gravel tire though.

CS seal let go a couple miles from home, my chain is super lubed and my frame will have no chance of rusting

Good ride but we needed more gravel. At least the seal is easy to fix. PO changed mine before I bought it from him and it is still holding up. Make sure that chain seems loose.
Good ride
