I mention to Bob about doing one of those big loops at CC when it dries some

That sounds good, especially the part about drying up. I haven't been down but the last two rides the front end was all over the place. A new front tire should be here any day, so that's got to help.

My son is playing AAU basketball so I will ride when I can. I believe Sundays are better than Saturdays, although I have a lot of annual leave and a weekday is possible

I can tell you the creek was packed last Saturday. More sideby's than you could shake a stick at.

Someone told me today, he lives there, that they are getting ready to timber the area.

You have to be careful and always think about them when cresting hills or rounding bends

They run them all over the county roads here, like they are the only ones around.
Bad enough that I don't normally ride dirt on summer weekends here now.

They treat the roads like they are one way, and you had better be hugging the right shoulder on any blind crest or turn.

Riding buddy vs sxs. Everybody ok since it was a pretty low speed event. Coulda been much worse.

The sxs guys were staying in the cabin next to us

Yep when riding up near Richwood we had a group of SXS run us off the road, they were drinking and couldnt care less about anyone.

The norm here is 4-5 of them, running balls out on dirt county roads that people live on and treating it like a racetrack.

The bad thing about a SXS is they allow people that don't have enough skill or coordination to ride a bike or quad at speed, to go much faster than they should be.

Now folks tow them over from MD or down from PA and treat the dirt roads like an off road park, because no one tickets them.

I ditched work, spooned on a front tire and snuck in 100 miles of back roads. 70 and sunny but pretty windy.

I saw an older klx650 or dr at the Exxon in buffalo and passed a super shiny(ie too clean) white super ten near confidence on rt 34. Anyone on here?

Blue hairs, pot holes, cold patch and cinders was the theme of the day
