Still have a few weekends open through August......and lots of weekdays if you have a crazy schedule like mine.
Don't hesitate to call with questions.

BTW ..The front porch is a great place to have a beer after a long ride

Next week

Any days available to rent the cabin for the week of June 30th? Looks like a great place to get away from it all.

Do they still rent boats in Cotter? I used to fish their every Summer. It would be nice to bring the bike and get in a little dual sporting, too. How's the fishing now and what's the water level?

Boat rentals are still available most places. The river is high and will be until September. The Corp is releasing water via the hydroeloectric generators at near maximum rate to get the upstream lakes down to normal levels after the floods in March and April. Drift fishing has actually been very good from a boat. The White is really too dangerous to wade until they stop generating. I fished Piney Creek near my cabin a couple of weeks ago...great smallmouth fishing. Heres a couple of pictures of Piney Creek.

My son Sam and a Piney Creek Smallmouth...We saw several fish that were much bigger than this.

I'm working on getting access from a neighbor for canoe and kayak takeouts. I launch about 1.5 miles from the cabin at a low water crossing for a nice 3-4 mile float and pick up the boats at a nearby bridge. A little work but worth it. The dual sport riding is awesome. The Ozark Natl Forest is just across the river. Let me know if you need more info via an e-mail or PM.

Just got back from Arkansas myself. Fished on the Norfork. Beautiful area. Just made my top 3 for places to retire. You have to try the vanilla cheese cake at Gaston's!

I'm open after Labor Day.
In Google Maps input "Sadieville Road, Arkansas" and you will see the location on Google Maps and Google Earth.

Since I live so far away I have someone do the cleaning and preparation for cabin guests when I am not there. I pay a two nights minimum fee to these folks so I don't rent it out for a single night at the ADV rate. At the normal rate of $125 I would need to check on an individual basis to see if they would be willing to clean and prep for one night.
