love the overnight idea, maybe we can do a full moon in big bear in august.... if we ride from home, it's better to meet at the 7-11 on oro vista/foothill. i'm thinking of that but the tires on my 640E may not be up to it. good for another 200 miles. maybe if use the chicken strips all the way they may make it to big bear and back. thinking of trucking.....

Sat's Ride
Ok so here is the plan, I'm going to head up to Arrowhead tonight I will drive down and meet the group at the gas station.
Meet spot: Meet at gas station/Mc Donald's @ the 15fwy and Silverwood exit. 9:am Head up Cleghorn and start working our way up into Arrowhead then maybe up Big Bear? The route will be both big and small bike friendly. Please be ready to roll by 9:am so we can get some good ridding in. The areas I'm planning to ride have riding for all levels. All trails will eventually meet up in the same spot, noobs can split off and stay on the main road. If we do want to make it to Big Bear (the fun way) their will be a small section that a noob will find challenging. A small water crossing and tight rock section. With help from others it will not be a big deal, we will all stay together to help make sure we all get across. (a GS Will not make this and will have to go the long way around) Make sure you carry extra tubes and tools. Gas range should be around 60-70 miles between gas stops. I will be checking in on this thread but may not have computer access later tonight.

Cleg has been going through some major changes... pretty much all the side roads are blocked off. And those that are not, please try to stay off them... it is going through a test time to see if they can establish the area routes... themain trail is still ripped up in places to make it interesting... Anyways have fun see you guys out there oned ay soon I hope...

I do have the blackberry so call me or text me. Unless I hear from you I will see you in the morning! Email will work too. I will be coming down Cleghorn in the morning so I will check it out. The good riding is above and around Arrowhead. Cleghorn is just the dirt road to get there. We can skip it and just head to the silverwood dam. If you are running late haul ass to the dam and catch us we will be regrouping at Pinnicals as well.
