No problem, if you didn't get a tool kit with your bike (like me), Motion Pro makes a thin walled 18 mm deep spark plug socket just for XRs, Rocky Mtn carries them.

Your valves are very likely on the tight side (.002 - .003") and your plug's gap has grown as well.

It seems I always start my riding day off here. This hottie wanted to tag along, but I explained to her that this was a very serious day of riding ahead. No way I could take a chance on her

The weather was nice first thing in the morning, which meant we had a hot day ahead

Nowhat and his "free truck". Nice

Everyone is starting to roll in

H8

Fishyhead

A little pavement before pleasure

The impeccably dressed Nowhat

Made it to Rowher

The transformation has begun...

Not the greatest shots, but at least we can prove we were there. Here's tuff enuff

fmfpunk

H8

Fishyhead and Riddler

Loner. All alone

Jon F

foul plug

H8 and Riddler

tuff enuff

Sorry Jon, it's tradition

OC bastards sticking together

Triple black downhill was interesting on the quarter ton bikes

Re-group

Riddler

We always seem to land here

I'm skeered

Great to see Cathy

Don't ever fuck w/ Joel. He has super powers

Mmm

See you later, alligator

View from Sawmill

Pyramid Lake in the background

Pine Canyon Rd.

Do we look like lunch? He thought so

More Pine Canyon Rd. back towards the Rock Inn

That's all for now. 185 miles for me. It did get a little warm, but I'm not complaining.
Thanks everyone!

nice rr john, me like..

sorry jon you crashed 3x, broke your turn signal and ended up getting a bruise. glad to see you didn't get hurt badly. note that there's a proper way of lifting a bike, you can tear a shoulder muscle or ruin your back that way.

hope this ride doesn't deter you from showing up next time....

look at the bright side, being at home doing rehab, you're a lot closer to the fridge...

dr, tough for me w/o you, the rides are a lot harder cuz we stop less frequently.....no more of these...+

my version of the rr...the long one, get ready grab a seat and a cold one.. don't worry there'll be plenty of intermissions....

strange, it starts every time from my house...

purdy bike and matching helmet...the first pic is always about me.... the 640, very good bike, the most bang for the buck!

riddler riding the 990 making sure it's ready for wmrs next weekend; vemin on his brand new 530... with a shirt on...

a bad boy's helmet...

we rode on, and about a mile from my house, i noticed vermin was missing, so i turned around and saw this; good thing it wasn't that bad

i like taking picture of the price of gas for each ride; years from now, we'll tell ourselves how lucky we were gas was affordable. the regular is mighty cheap at this place...and the answer is no, i'm not telling where...

always something interesting on the road; the pumpkin was huge... ; sorry, that's a 4wheeler lingo...riddler and dunerat know that for sure.

i noticed it wasn't a military vehicle; just another big toy

made it to the 7-11 and the FFs were already there

this gotta be the most famous and most photographed 7-11 store in the adv community...

the "impeccably dressed nowwhat" checking out fmfpunk's 950
