after the exciting canyon riding on little T (video later), we regrouped at the gas station on sand canyon

wes giving me the signal that once at rowher, he wants to ride with the 2 craziest riders in the group.....

as long there are twisties, the pavement portion was great...

we made it to rowher staging area I. the place was nearly empty.

go figure, what's that strange thing sticking out on top of nowwhat's helmet...

it was all green a few months ago, this time the surrounding has mostly dried up

jon b movin along..

bob

who knows more about this place other than dennis, our designated rowher ride leader

after a few more times riding with us, jon you'll be standing on the pegs

paul and the beast

the rider from tx looking good here

thanks johngil....

an emergency stop

now i know, jon has to add extra ventilation to his pants to beat the heat...

duy has improved a lot from the last time i rode with him...dv nOObs last march.

foulplug

we started from the bottom of the valley

here comes some of the big bikes

good there were a lot of trees that were spared by the previous fire here at rowher

the other "impeccably dressed rider"....nowwhat's twin..

dennis, john and chris. we all stopped to enjoy the view of the lake

end of rowher

regrouped again at spunky and boquet; here nowwhat fixing his berg using KLR tools borrowed from fishyhead....

the temp in the shade

then we rode to sito's rock at the trailhead

off we go on tule

here comes bob. the very wet winter we had last season left this place with lots of ruts; this one in particular swallowed duy's klr..

we waited at the split for the remaining riders

the pacific crest trail will take you to canada; too bad no motor bikes.

Those ruts were the worse I'VE seen. Next time I'll get through or around them

chris sorry to see you followed the wrong group. typically, if you want to continue riding with us after lunch, don't follow the riders with their tails in between their legs....

I'm envious of Jim as well.

Self-employment is a double edged sword.

Go Jim!
