"For years it has been a goal of mine to try and bridge the gap between Manufactures and the Retail Motorcyclists. There is a sea of misinformation out there and I hope to clear the waters showcasing products and ideas direct from the source.
My aim is to educate the retail buyer so that knowledge will make the motorcycle experience more enjoyable."

Sincerely,

Dave McGachan

Here's the latest update I got regarding the fire in Kernville.

The fire is now at about 16,000 acres and spreading fast. It's supposed to be hot & windy for the next several days, and today the wind has shifted directions & is pushing the fire back towards us. I'm not overly concerned about our business at the moment; the path of the fire so far has created a pretty good fire break to the north, although if it comes back in from the east it could be sketchy. I am a bit more concerned about the fire on the west side of the river, where our house is. With the winds blowing south it is coming our way, although information is not very solid so I don't exactly how close it is.

I think we'll be ok, but there is a smaller but significantly more destructive fire burning to the south of us in Tehechapi.

I'm at browns right now. No smoke from the mono fire at the campground, I,m going north tomorrow so I'll let you know exactly where the fire is.

When you guys pass through bishop, stop at the public lands information center on hwy 395 just north of carls jr. Ask for motor vehicle use maps. They are free trail maps for in yo nf.
