no, but i pray a lot though...

ok...here's the RR...

unlike others, i wasn't fortunate to do the friday ride. so my story starts saturday morning from the stove restaurant in mammoth lakes

as always, wherever we ride, we like to stimulate the local economy

mike showing our 130 mile route over breakfast. need a lot of protein for this ride...

this picture is not complete without biggiE and the vermin...

my choice of fuel; not pleasing to the eye but it was free...thans t & j..

the price of gas on that day; and even with lack of proper lighting, you can tell that rider is the "impecabbly dressed nowwhat"

eric and his shiny 990...and finished the weekend with still lots of shine on that bike...

rruugger... taking the 990 for the first time out on real dirt and lotsa sand

on the way to brown's, to meet some more riders

lots of big bikes... ; apparently the boyz didn't want to be girls on this ride...

wohooo, finally we have a genuine nOOb in the group....

Laugh damned nOObs..

2 miles into the ride i decided to find out how soft this sand....

then 5 miles later.....

no help needed and duy was moving again....

here come's randy gassing it up...

spaxer stayed on course

later, we were joined by handlebar mustached conner

more later......

Like every major ride thus far this year, I'll be there next year!

randy in control

after 7-8 miles of deep sand plus 120 more to go, we decided we had enough.

so, next was plan B, meet the big bikes near june lake.

the route was take 90% dirt to june lake

jim was the designated "baby sitter" on this ride....

dooooowee...

conner and randy

we took a side trip to the lookout

group shot

the view facing west from 9085 ft elevation

looking north towards mono lake

the young doooowee

me like this pic..

up on the tower with 360 view

wind was blowing hard that it rocked the tower; check out the handlebar

there is strength in numbers

i'll post more after i get home...

jim going back for a pictorial

we climbed in elevation

then we found this nice and neat campground

unfortunately, motor vehicles are not welcome on the trail

but cool place to rest

and we enjoyed the awesome view
