thanks for the heads up, Bob.

I have only run 606's on my KLR and I commuted with that bike.

I would get close to 2,000 miles on a set of tires.

I can handle a few super slab miles.
Looks like 8363 Foothill Blvd. Corner of Oro Vista. North East corner.

It's just over a mile East of the 210.

I'd call it unlucky. I've been getting at least 3000 miles on 606's....one set close to 4000.

Let me chime in.

Sand sucked, got lighter bike & went to Pismo. Klammer right, that ='s FUN Dunerat Right I think the key to longevity is not to run the tire FAST and low PSI. I forget sometimes to air back up, and then a 90mph run home and the tire is toast.

Went riding today, and the husky got compared to a KLR... A lot . Now I think Single track and roots suck, I need a lighter bike, again.

Hey Charles, What's a broken wrist look like? I mean how purple does it have to be before I need to get it checked?

I miss sand.

bob, on another note, tire longetivity depends on who are you riding with or following....

watch out for downed trees on single track that have been cut to barely the width of your footpegs. that's how i broke my foot.

Just FYI that the CHP was out the past 2 weekends cruising around STRICTLY enforcing the speed limit; Oro Vista, AFH, Upper Big T and ACH!

If you aren't speeding, and with a group and "mid pack," they'll never notice.

The key is to not speed up there and draw attention to yourself!
