we may have to skip cleghorn, another 15 miles @ 1 hour, yes or no???

we will be in big bear after 1 pm or 2 pm, depending on which route we take. i'm ok with the 2nd one, bring snacks and drinks.
Oh man, I wanted to ride Cleghorn and as much dirt as possible.

If we start at 7 AM, that's plenty of time to do the original route.

Oh, I'm in, I just firmed up my w/e plans; mtn biking Sat, dual sport ride Sun!

there's another 60 miles of dirt on the way back to McDs....we will be home by 10 at night.........

Then we should just meet at the McD's (15 & 138) at 8 AM and go from there.

That would be closer for me.

Ok, make sure you guys post up if I have to wake up a hour earlier...I was planning on meeting you FF's at 9:00 at McD's.

For what it's worth, I have crashed twice (ok I lying, three times, with Ben and Duy on a Ben lead ride in that area) so that's my noob level and I blame Duy for riding my a$$ *
*Just saw your weren't coming Duy

Do you have nobbies on that 800 yet? Duy you better show up. That sand in the pic is not that long of a section. Trust you do not want to miss a Sito ride in that area. Ben

if we start at 8 am and do the long route - cleghorn, pilot truck, to hysteria, to coxey to big pine to holcomb to van dusen and ends in big bear. it's EASY dirt, but lots of fun.

damit, no sandwash....

I'm a maybe on this ride, I have an out of town nephew (by marriage) visiting from New York who wants to go camping and riding (one of my bikes). But he seems to be easily distracted by his cousins (and their hottie girlfriends), so I may just make it. we'll see...I'm not too keen on lending my pristine CR250 to a 16 year old kid who barely knows how to ride.
