SUNDAY AT 8AM @ McDs off the 15 and 138 (cajon junction)

we need someone to volunteer to lead the fast group.......

i don't have a gps track, but the route is cleghorn, pilot rock to 173 towards hesperia - arrowhead lake - rock springs becomes roundup - right on bowen ranch - left on coxey - left of big pine - left on holcomb - right on van dusen - right on 39 (big bear) - left and cross the lake - right on bigbear blvd - the azteca restaurant on your left.

i'm not sure how to get from end of cleghorn to the pilot rock trailhead, that's where we need sito.

I think I might be able to lead the fast group, except for the navigation part
I do know most of the trails in that area...by sight, not too much by name....I'm bad with names...landed on my head too many times...

Awesome ride there
I used to have the energy / motovation to do that (fun Shit when mostly downhill) used to do 20 miles (MIN) per day
but marriage & kids & work to support marriage & kids, kinda killed that fun for the most part now all I have is a continuinly slightly expanding Beer belly to show for it

If you want to travel out my way I'll break out the Pedel bike and show you show you some epic downhilling rides in the La Verne / Mt Baldy / Claremont area (SAVE ME)

Thanks, that was a FIND! I've always liked Rocky Mountain bikes!

I used to MB a few years ago, but got out of it, as all of my riding buddies dropped out one by one, and sold my Kona Dawg.

But, I have a new set of MB riding buddies, so it's going to be fun! If we hit your area, I'll let you know!

hi scott, maybe you can talk c-dub into relegating the lead over to you. and since unlikely we will see the fast group until lunch, you guys can plan over whatever all the fast riders want to do.

just a heads up. the "quad" trail we rode last weekend is one of the easier trails in that area.

I have no problem with that, I know Scott can definitly ride that 250F (or was it a 450?) Yamaha with the trials tire on the back.
No way could I keep up or even want to try some of the gnarley stuff, and I'll be on the 950A (shit I need a 530 EXE).
Just so long as he stays away from barbed wire !
Last time I rode with him I was on my CR500 so keeping up was no problem, the amazing thing was Riceless on our asses on his 950A!

i can't wait to hear your stories on monday...

ok, before we take off from McDs, all the "recreational riders"... best if you look for sito and me, and park your bike near ours.

and if you haven't met scott (ride leader for the advanced group)...he'll be out there on a wr250 (just like eggroll's bike).

c-dub, it's only a 250
Im not planning to do any of the stuff we took u on last time!
BUT, i am not interested in riding dirt ROADS to BB either!!
i plan on taking ALL LEGAL routes there, BUT staying away from the 4x4 and car type roads!
i would like to do 2n14x to devils hole then across the back of the mtn to BB!! and back via 2 track TRAILS!!!!
there is gonna be ALOT of QUAD & 4X4 TARDS up there on the easy roads, especially cleghorn!!!! so i plan on staying (if anyone plans to ride with me)away from there, just toooo much of a chance for head on's!!! been there done that!!!
riceless yea he can ride!!!!
