Hey Rob, looks like you might still be back at McDonalds. Did you not have it running after that? I would had thought it would had sent out a signal of where it last was...several in fact, unless of course it ran out of batteries.

Better Late than Never

Made it back safe and almost sound. Very swollen calf from one of my 4? incidents! Best one was where for no apparent reason my bike went bouldering. Sito chased for miles screaming while I rode comfortably totally tuned out listening to Italian classical music. WTF was Sito carrying on about when we finally had to stop for another rider? Could it be the flaming Husky? Ripped a fuel line off while bouldering. Only spewed a few gallons. Who would have thought Sito was such an environemtalist?

Other than a few dropped bolts and one sheared faring mount bolt it was going pretty OK. That is until the bike stopped turning left?? One dropped bolt managed to wedge itself very securely in the steering lock. Took a while to sort that one out. Thanks again Tim.

CDub and I missed the dirt turnoff after lunch. We rode back up to past where we knew Rob had last been seen with us. Didn't see anyone so we both took pavement back. I finished the day off getting thoroughly lost in Riverdino.

What a great ride, I now feel like I know what the limits of my ability are when it comes to challenging situations on a big bike. I will never attempt
Devil's Hole again on the 950A, but at least I know I can get through something like that without assistance if I have to, but man it was a biatch!
!
Not many 950As cross there. SEs, a few maybe. Adventures, 2 that I've heard of.

Joel, sounds like to me you just nominated yourself to be the advance group photographer. Seriously though you would had made it through this section no problem.
