Looks like Rob still needs to work out some of the bugs in his KOTW not so secret weapon.

looking at the trail map, there are still a lot of dirt to be explored between big bear and lake arrowhead. one in particular is crab flats which i've done 12 years ago on 4w. unfortunately, i could not recall the terrain and difficulty level.

Actually there is. And I'm the only one with this kind of experience, at least that's willing to (has to) admit it.

Eric, at least give me a LAser rig next time, instead of the Sunfish

Sunfish has a Lateen rig (Mast, boom and floating foremast), and the Laser has the standard Marconi rig (mast and boom).

Dude... a Sunfish is one of the funnest little boats ever made, you can flip them over all day long.

Give me the Laser, over the Sunfish any day. Much faster, lighter and soft chined instead of hard so tracks better on a broad and beam reach without hooking up in the troughs. Raced them both since I was about 8 years old, both fun, but the Laser is way more fun.

I think Joel is gonna stop this any time now
