I've got some ideas, but I don't think you'd like them. Thinking lunch in Randsburg.
Maybe Inscription Canyon.

Time to use up a tire in a day.

My long distance riding days are over, I'm a local yokel now!

There are tons of great places to ride in our immediate area, and I'm liking Big Bear more and more these days!

There's also Idyllwild, I recall there are some nice trails and good places to eat up there too, it's just been a while since I was last up there.

I also use to ride some fire roads on Mt Baldy way back when, I think it was up Mtn Ave.

rowher fire road

hey hammermech, welcome to the local community! glad to have you aboard and for ditching nyc for l.a.

jim single tracking on his 950....

jon flawless rode his 640...congrats and no crashy on this 110 miles trek...

there were others too at rowher

just chilling out

hey ridingisliving, that's a good choice of bike; and there's the roost them all, rock spitting, windshield cracking 690e next to alon; next time you can only ride with us if you take the gs1200...

couple of the guys in the foreground attacking the hill

i can read what's in sito's mind

it has been a while for sito doing hill climbs on his 950 and joined the fun

the hill was tougher than it looks

as we rode on towards bouquet, the big bikes continued to play on the little hills; watching ktmami on the se was mesmerizing

the perfect form

hammermech though new to the group (and former new yorker) has good skills

on the north side of rowher, there's bouquet lake

as we head down bouquet, i was able to make a pass...

at the trailhead off bouquet...the waiting began...

then more waiting at spunky.....

and more waiting at san fransquito in green valley

we waited for about 1 hour and unknown to us the rogue riders are already heading to rock inn for beer and lunch........

good to see jon on the pegs most of the time

duy and his trademarked elbow bend......

the puck showed off by roosting me hard and ended here.....

got it up, then.........

then pushed it over to the other side......wtp...????

Good to see that in addition to Duy's 14 gallon tank, he also brought a reserve tank on his luggage rack, just in case. That boy loves to handicap himself.

Rogue riders?

Is that what you call a group of guys who tells a group of guys where they are going and how they are going to get there?

You never know when you're gonna need to make a non-stop run to Chicago.

Rogue riders?

Is that what you call a group of guys who tells a group of guys where they are going and how they are going to get there?

john, i was told by jim to that you guys will meet at spunky. didn't know until dennis told me that you guys decided to deviate from the original plan and took the high road. i myself will be happy to join you and want to that high road if i knew.

i have no idea who elses are with you. meantime, ktmami was worried that alon was still in rowher. sito, ktami, and i went back to rowher and look for alon and whoever was with him. in the process we wasted a good hour and eventually lost sito.

we all know having a big group is like herding cats. situation like this, we need to stay on course and maintain good communication. breaking away from the group is ok with me, as long you guys personally tell me or let us know in advance before the start of the ride. having different agendas does not work well in a big group.

to all, whenever possible, when we plan the ride, we ride the plan..
