I'm from a country with some of the highest taxes in the world, Sweden. I'm just kidding about getting rid of them of course. I just think businesses across the country should be able to compete on slightly more equal terms, whether you're a mailorder internet business or a local shop.

Since january i charge $15 more per wheel if you buy the tire in another shop and you want me the install it , also have no answers for guys the shop the internet heavy so they save $10/20 per order .
How many internet retailers take you on a ride tru some killer stuff,or invite you to their cabin in the mtns ,or let you used their trailer,or have a cooler in the deck with beer's, They not care you just a number for theme .
I have a good relation with most o my customers and I understand went they shop on the net and they save $$ and i can't match o get close to the net price .Normally is only tires so if they install theme is a saving , if not I have to charge extra because my tire balancer and change machine cost me over 10 K for the best .
Not to mention wen they ask if can paid you for that next month ,o Im short on $$ and i need a new tire ,or a top end work ,o can i split this in 2 paychecks

The problem right now is from 1999 to 2007 the motorcycle industry got bombed with a stimuluss from non pasionate riders and bump the sales from 400 kunits a year to 1.2 millon a year ,now we going back to prior to 1999 and all the dealers and internet retailers the think the motorcycle comunity grow will have a big eye opener in the next 2 years .

We getting back to the 400k units a year and is a good think i belive
I'm new to riding. Cool you are local. I have a place in Frazier Park, so I will stop by next time I'm up there. Have a DR650 in need of shock work, and would love to support local. Cheers.

I didn't know you had a place up there Steve . . . very cool! You know I'm new too, but everybody I've talked to raves about Javier and Trail Tricks. You'll have a couple new customers coming your way soon, Javier!

So today we went for a ride in gorman. Just so happens I also took my dr650 up to trail tricks for Fork service. Javier was kind enough to offer to have it done while I went riding with my friends. It's 95 miles to trail tricks from my house. So a big thanks for getting my bike done in one day.

So we rode from gorman to the pizza place in lake obthe woods. Mostly single track the whole way. 43 miles round trip. Not too much dust and not too windy or cold even. Here's the only pics I took. Baby log crossing.

So today I rode and supported local business, one that I found by the internet.

Also getting the stink eye from the wife for riding too much.

Here is a picture for Vern. Someone take a laptop in to show him. This is one of MrsTahoeacrs best friends. M showed her Vern's picture and she wants to meet him. She will be up for the Assault III to help cook.

That aught to cheer him up. And she lives in Bishop.

She had a bikini shot but you know she wouldn't let me post that.

i only commute 3 miles daily, so i was excited to get out of town, see the prescott area, and do some riding. the 900 mile rt driving didn't bother me and actually was fun....

the drive was interesting, saw this queen

very nice ride

looks like these guys have the same weekend plan

the dark clouds made us think it will be a wet weekend; several days before it had been raining in prescott, and i don't like mud. was a good timing, didn't see a single drop of rain in the 4 days we were there.
