the dirt started very friendly...smooth and damp



immediately we gained altitude



megan on the 690 was our ride leader



first hill climb got me fired up....









spafxer having a blast on the exc













not sure what happened here but rider and bike were ok

almost forgot to add, jim and i did the b-loop on saturday; not hard nor too easy. duy you could have done it on your klr, the only section that was tough was the trail after lunch. it was uphill and loose, however there's an altenate route.

i didn't have lots of pics, busy catching up with the group. though, i have vids which i will post later.

after crown city, we continued on the B-loop

i heard the ATR ride is moved to a different place every year all over arizona. i would love to go back if they will do it in flagstaff....

continued

pinned the bike on 3rd gear, caught up with the guys and immediately noticed a gathering of SHOEI HEADS.....



it seems the guy in the background got their attention....



then looks like the SHOEI SQUAD is about to march on....



iit's a fact, the SHOEI helmets are front heavy....



finally dawned on me that the SHOEI HEADS were there for the annual gatheringl...

i opted to stay behind since megan's pace was a little too fast for me and it was wearing out my old bones...













another wave of riders replaced our group




riders from OC




didn't take anymore pictures since i was busy finding my way on the B-loop


filling up for sunday's ride




their gas price for a premium is ridiculously lower than kali





riders checking back in




yes! i made it to the elkdom....




my saturday's ride summary




spa treatment for our sore muscles..... and washing off the az dirt....





that's day one....
