I'm not saying don't ride smart or skip on safety gear but if you ride sooner or later your going to hurt yourself. All the guys on that list are smart, capable and responsible riders but sooner or later your number gets called.
AHMEN!

+1

I have racked myself up on most every size of bike possible. I think the current count is:

Broke the right arm 1 time
Broke the left arm 2 times
Left fibia 1 time
Left foot 2 times in three months. Both times with Herrhelmet and I rode out of DV once.
Right leg and left arm both at the same time. This was also with Herrhelmet and I rode for three more hours after killing my pain with Vics and Jack.
6" skull fracture (street bike)
Busted right wrist
Three busted ribs

I know there's more, I just can't recall possibly due to the 6" skull fracture.

christmas party

please check your pm.

i sent a pm to the 90 most active inmates on this thread plus special friends regarding our xmas party.

what that means, if they bring their significant other, there will be 180 people.

unfortunately we have a limit. the minimum guest is 60 and the max is 80. first come first served. i will start a x-mas party thread if we're able to meet the minimum by this wednesday noon. if i get an overflowing response, i will find a bigger venue.

come on folks, come out and join us. this thread never asked anything from anyone, this is one of the few instances you have to give.

sincerely,

joel

Rrrrgh! Some of me own medicine. I'm smiling 'cause I just removed my face from the bosom of the wench behind me. You can see she's upset with me for removing it.

at the end of the day, i was happy i did the sandwash. glad to hear no one crashed. yes, i struggled half of the way, then marty saw and passed me. then he took the time and got off his bike, then showed me how to position myself on the bike for better control. after that, that got me the right technique and rode all the way with confidence.

marty...you're the man....

NOVEMBER 7TH, LAKE ARROWHEAD - THE LONG WAY AROUND @ 130 miles
this was the original plan. though we did couple of shortcuts, still we all rode and did the full loop.

at 8am, we met near the entrance to the glen helen mx track

there were line formations on both sides of the fence of glen helen

5 minutes in the ride, i broke my clutch cable, which was stressed out the day before during the jimmy lewis class. i probably operated my clutch like 500 times that saturday.....

anyway, i knew this will eventually happen, so i had a spare clutch cable lined next to the existing one. eric and john were very helpful, so was sito! thank you my priends.
