LOL,

Maybe B4 the party I might take you up on that Danny. I dunno what I am doing right now. Tomorrow I gotta pickup the Bike, and that's sure to be a mess, then I'm going up to Stockton to pickup my sweet new ride:

And then depends on if I can get it to work or what. I gotta get my butt back to Yuma and stop spending money for at least a week.

I went Tuesday and it was an all-day affair.

Then you have to transport yourself/gear to the island I had planned to sail and stay on a boat, the way to go IMO, otherwise you gotta rent a place on the island, and take the ferry, which is simple enough. THe ferry was busy but not completely full either way on Sat.

On Thursday night they posted a sched with a "mandatory" riders meeting on Fri. First I heard of it.

And I'm supposed to pick up the bike tomorrow or Wed, and that I guarantee is going to be a complete clusterf*ck because they had 27 containers full of bikes, and the warehouse in wilmington had room for like 5 containers and 50 bikes at a time. So for being out of town like me I have to deal with a place to stay & time off for like 10 days, plus the normal expenses.

if you're local, count on missing at least 2 weekdays of work, but really you should be there Friday too so three work days plus the weekend race days.

But I tell you, it was incredibly fun, EVERYONE I've seen is raving about it. They pulled this off in a few months time, and realistically it went pretty smoothly. if they work on it for a whole year I'm sure they will iron out a lot of the bugs.
Cool, thanks for the details!

I'll have ample vac time to burn next year!

The Chevy 6.5 diesel is known as a POS "but" gets good mileage. We'll see, gotta be better than the V-10.

I've bought some stuff from the Gov before, it's certainly better to go preview stuff. But in this case I know that they sold off a lot of this exact type. SO they are getting rid of all of them, not just the beaters. Most of the time, the guys there turn a key and if it doesn't start, they say 'it's broke' they rarely try to diagnose or jump it etc.

I'm hopeful that all it really needs is a jump but you never know, could be all seized up. But looking at the pics you can tell the body is in pretty good shape, so if I gotta buy a new motor it will just be that much better.

What really sucks is that a couple months ago at an airbase in BFE Utah they sold like 8 of them, 'running' for 3-400 apiece but I didn't have ANY $$ at the time

this one in NY is not nearly as well cared for and it runs... so I'm optomistic

Holly crap! Tim If you would have picked up a hooker and won $1000 it would have been a perfect week end.

Saturday LC8 Ride Report - coming soon

Haven't seen this much orange since Halloween. Had a great time on Saturday with the other 8 LC8's. Small ride report coming tonight or tomorrow. Just a teaser pic taken with the phone for now.

as a medical professional i don't think this brace will be good investment... if considering getting one look at the new Leatt Club, it can be adjusted.
the new version also have improved padding which will decrease risk of fracturing the collar bone...

the above brace is very uncomfortable, can not be adjusted and due to poor padding / design will most likely fracture the collar bone.... not necessarily save your neck.. my 2 cnt
