Talking about waiting: still waiting for your pics from Saddleback a couple weekends ago on the CNF thread...

Anything forthcoming?

Vids are uploading from the go pro right now. Then to you tube. Give me some time as this is the first time playing with it. In the mean time, the few I shot from the iPhone
At target at 7 am. There was a line.

I didn't cross this crossing. I didn't want to get my socks wet

I didn't go through thatwater, I took the river bypass.

Does you tube usually take 1 hour to upload a 700 Meg video?

El Paso Mountains Christmas Eve Ride - CONTINUED - Nowwhat, Sito and Toast

We did our best to torture Sito today, but he was a beast....

Rock falls, mud, a running sand wash for 30 minutes, hill climb after hill climb...traction was perfect...temp was 60 degrees and zero dust...

Set a new personal best on the big hill climb we always do....then came back down stopped at the bottom and fell over.........do zero mph tips count?
these are the days that I will remember.....
Yes Nowwhat, they do count when captured on camera.
So Nowwhat and I started out to meet Javier off the 14 to pickup a finely tuned 690.
As I moved my gear bag a partially alive mouse presented itself, apparently a traveler from my garage.....or

At Mike's Roadhouse, we met up with Sito who had a nice breakfast going

We may have crossed a Road Closed sign to get to our staging area, the weather was perfect and the ground moist. The hardware was ready to roll.

Nowwhat plowing some tracks with a new tire.

Didn't get a picture of Nowwhat on this hill. By the time I stop to pull the camera out, he is gone. Here are some shots of Sito on the 690.

Always a quick stop at the top to catch your breath and let the arm pump go down. Sito with a lens flare

Nowwhat trail, don't ask for the GPS on this

Another view at the top. The photo stitch was a little sloppy.

Sito passing some gas, too much pork for breakfast.

The fun hill climb. With the recent rain, some of us thought that all time heights would be reached on this climb........

Nowwhat lays it over, even with his special super secret device, (I am buying one this week).

Sito rode awesome today.

Hand the camera to an amateur, here are the results. Toast on the way up.

And on the way down.

This shot came out, one of my favorites.

Spending a minute to view the awesome scenery, one of the great parts of riding that sometimes is overlooked.

The dirt looks normal at first glance, as you can see it was soft

While riding this stream bed, Nowwhat put his front tire deep into this liquid sand.

and more stream fun was ahead.

Then a quick run through Hobbs Wash, fun trail.

We all made it up Nowwhat falls on the first try. It is steeper than it appears.

Nowwhat made it up this hill on the first try. The wet sand underneath added some weight to the dirt, seemed to make it harder for the bigger bike to make it up. Sito and I took a few tries to get up.

Then Sito decided to go up this hill just for fun. I didn't want anything to do with this one.

No Randsberg today, since it was Christmas eve and all....
Just some real dirty gear and bikes. It took 45 minutes to get the bike clean.

My EVS elbow pad wasn't in the right spot when I laid the bike over in some rocks. Other than that, we all came out without bike or body damage. A great day of riding.

Top the day off with a stop at Denny's for a ridiculously good burger, Grand Slam Burger with avocado, bacon, hash browns, egg and a great tasting hand formed patty.
