let's stay on the topic until the person is done with his presentation. wait for a lull.

the PM section is great, folks use them to communicate with other individuals. that what's it is for.

sean, you and your 650 will be fine, even a 950 in the hands of a good rider can do it.

here's tom riding my 640E; he forged ahead and check out the riding area and he didn't put a scratch on my bike

that was a lucky break. it rained the night before day 1 and a heavy storm with snow came after the boys made it home.

hi lior, i'm just waiting for the snow to melt in the mesquite area; there's some unfinished riding we have to do.

i researched the area and wish i had done a proper planning on last weeks ride. there are 3 ways we can get to st. george via the canyons, including routes to lake mead and the grand canyons.

get ready in april....

i was just posting in regards to Danny G's post about Oregon. since i'm a native of WA and OR, i was curious. and i didn't get the married lingo.

didn't mean to step on your toes, Joel.

i had NO idea you weren't done with your ride report and i was supposed to wait it out until you uploaded all your pics.

joe you will like the route we did. the sandwash was a bitch, it was in different sections, we struggled maybe only about a total of 3 miles.

all the roads we did are big bike friendly. i will not ride my xr400 on the routes i have in mind cuz it's a looooong ride back on the asphalt. need to bring sleeping bags and food just in case we get stuck in the canyons.

nothing more fun than riding a 100hp bike on a smooth dirt straightway.... tom's unedited video lasted 18 minutes, which would have taken me 25 minutes from start to finish. nowwhat for sure can do it in 10 minutes.....

If you focus even more on Utah I'm there like flies to nasty stuff! I heart Utah.

Nice. I got some sand practice down in Baja on the big bike over Thanksgiving. I can get by in it OK, I just don't care for it much.

I'll bring both sleeping bag and tent and stay in the canyons when you head off to the motel/hotel

ti-d-bowl's pics

tom's too busy to post his rr and asked me to be the proxy...

lunch at the mad greek in baker...now that bob drunk the coolaide, i can't wait for him to sell me his stitch jacket...will match my yammy tw200..

powerline road from baker to primm

when was the last time we saw an adventure bike on an adventure...

it was easy to go fast on the powerline road...but there are surprises!

a few days earlier, tbarstow warned me about the ruts after the rain. you can see the skid marks after slamming my brakes. no faceplant this time..

looks like i missed this one. at least i didn't fall in.... where was this tom?

not an easy hill climb for me.....it's a kotw track.....

though the higway is just nearby, we opted to take the dirt whenever possible...

that's tom, who rediscovered the town of blackrock az...population is 0

we're heading into that mountain range, we skipped the asphalt and took the other dirt road.

looking back where we started and after 15 miles or so, we reached this point

the road ahead......noobie nice...

inside the canyon

nice pics tom and thanks for letting us see it.....

joel,

as soon as i got back, i started going over google maps/earth, and i think i might have been able to string together a pretty cool route. it's really long though, and i need to do a lot more homework. i'll call you in the next few days to talk about it.

i ordered maps of utah, nevada, az, and ca from amazon.com; all the trails that we saw are in 3 states. have to get all 3 state maps by benchmark maps.

i will cut and paste so we can have just 1 map.
