Rider,

In that case you are following the wrong ones. You should be right behind me.

new project

i know many of you want to take jimmy's class! $600 is a lot of $, not really if you will benefit from it and become a better rider.

but for those who don't have that right amount of $$$$, i am thinking of sending 1 or 2 of the l.a. crew to the class.

we sell a $20 raffle ticket. the more you buy, your chances of winning increase.

so we need to sell 30 tickets to get 1 student to class or 60 tickets for 2 students. i will take 2 tickets.

what do you think guys? please post up if you're interested. paypal will get you IN.

joel, those single tracks were right at the bottom still. i have a vid of the gnarliest trail ive ever ridden the dr, its downloading now. also joel my 2 cents, take that 600 bucks and do 3 weekends locally like cal city or dove springs or jawbone. take the xr or exc and just go out and ride and stay off the pavement and drop all the extra weight you carry. i know you like jimmy, but 600 bucks a person is a lot of cash. take that money and rent an rv and make a home base in one of those riding area's. 3 guys to an rv is just about perfect 200 bucks a piece. i know if you say you are riding the dez, youll get 10 noobs to go with you so you wont be alone. it will also provide opportunity for us to run the rhino's and just play ride and have campfire bantering. if YOU plan it they will come.

lior can't go any faster....he can't pass dannyG since the xchallenge's humongous gas tank is all over that single track....

will wait for the rest of the vid then.

rich, you and i need LOL

we just have to donate as much as danny (trailtrick suspension) and sito (tons of stuff which was expected since he bought half of all the tickets sold), but that's no guarantee either, look at eggroll, he donated $200 and all he won is a stinking hat....

i'm also suspicious of dannyG, it was his son who pulled the stub out of the box.

very lucky... 2 guys with 1 raffle ticket each...scorpion got the 908 Rear and vermon won the jimmy lewis riding lesson.

I agree with the Rider, Joel you need the right bike (your 525) and seat time. You can do all the classes you want but you won't improve unless ride.

We should do a weekend ride soon while the weather is nice. The good thing about doing a weekend like this is you don't have to wear yourself out getting there. Find a good spot where you can leave base camp for a few hours return back for a lunch break and go out again later. This way you can work on building your skill level and give you body a little rest in between.

Try riding with Lior in the desert, then you will know he can ride a lot faster. I never had so many near getoffs, but never crashed. (This was from a ride a couple of weeks ago). Barstow to Laughlin, but we had to abort in Baker.
