I'm back. Don't have any idea what Kawy was thinking about when they designed those breakaway foot pegs on the KLR . Picked up a couple of new bolts on the way home and I'm good to go again.

Home without a scratch

Wohoooooooo!

Great riding, lots of good guys, beautiful weather, and more dirt than I want to ride! I'm not sure how many miles but I would guess we did around 200.

It's true, Sito carry a ju-ju, 2 riders ended up turning around cuz of bike breakdown.

John and I ended up slabbing it out on the 5FW from north of Templin to home.

Lots of nice pics and will post them tonight.

Thanks to the 10 other riders who came and joined the ride.

FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO FIND OUT ABOUT THE OLD RIDGE ROUTE......IT IS STILL CLOSED And so we didn't bother breaking through or going around the gate, since that will put a BIG BLACK EYE to the ADV Community.

We ended up turning around and found the highway to get home.

checking in. Home now. Bike completely died just after getting back on Lake Hughes Rd. Coasted a while and then waited for someone to stop to call home and get the truck. In the meantime, met a Shawn from Frazier Park on a 950 KTM.

Those KTM's tow real nice.

174 miles on the G650X was fun.... at this time the bike is NOT 4 sale

change from 85psi to 105 made very big difference
