Hooo boy...who dressed you this morning?

Just kidding! Only reason I mentioned it was your earlier post about the colors.

Most of us guys use the sniff method of getting dressed for a ride. If we can sniff it without wrinkling our noses...it's good!

I think you both will be ready for some more challenging trails soon!

Yeah...at least cars can see me...and

Two trails...let me get some more seat time before we tackle goat tracks. I'm still making some really bone head moves. Switchbacks are my enemy for some reason. I also have issues with those boots. Upshifting is a PITA. Half the time I can't find the shifter. If I do find it I can't get my toe under it or the edge of my boot doesn't catch the edge of the shifter. It's like trying to shift with a large cast on my foot. Anything I can do about this? Who else has Alpinestars Tech 6 boots?

The more you ride, the quicker you will get used to those boots....or try to bring the shifter lever up by a notch.

Meeting Place

Familiar background...we meet here almost every Saturday. First time we had 2 rides in the same day...the nOObs did SCD, while the experts and wanna bees (me) went to Lake Elizabeth. There were 13 ADV inmates went riding in the near perfect weather today.

Lots of bikes in front of 7-11...it seems that this is becoming a favorite meeting place

Sito's bike getting some attention

Plenty of good riders today, not enough nOObs

I got Cathy's .......nevermind again , not on the bike though

the color combo is not really that bad.....

Let's ride........

danny, definitely you need a leatt brace

on the way to little t

the good part of the ride is taking the 35 miles of twisties on the way to the trail.

danny starting to like the x-challenge

artboy and the rest of the crew

john got caught between a fallen branch and the source

we stopped by to see if texas canyon is opened

danny was telling us he did texas canyon on his gs and boiled his brake fluids on the way down....same trail nowwhat, artboy and I did when we were noobs...that was fun sliding down the trail with locked wheels.

more canyon riding

screwing around in green valley

just another beautiful day in los angeles and an empty highway

sito placed a rock on top of sito's rock...

hanging out at the trailhead waiting for tt and bb

we're not the only guys with cool rides this morning

we decided to push on thinking the other group of ffs are waiting for us at the other stop.

not for long we got the salute

billy true to his promise...made it to the meeting place on time

richK...first time riding with us....very good rider on a sick bike

lots of oranges

the hottest bike around...a 690 Enduro

the army issued kawi

more pics coming

Ok I'm back....still with a big grin from yesterday's ride..

After hooking up with the renegades, we took Tule Ridge. A few of us took the dirt trail on the left side of the picture, but the expert ffs decided to ride the ridge literally...a single track, you won't see me taking pics on that one . Billy will give the complete details, not just one but 4 versions..

sito our trail leader led the assault

dannyG

john

kena

not sure, could be javier or jeffe with a nice tiny wheelie

sorry richK, no pic of you doing the hill climb on the gs1200, next time give me a clue...i would love to show that to the 950 guys.

the trail you see is what i and a couple of us did, but for the rest of the ffs, they actually took the ridge. this ride put tule ridge as one of the difficult trails around here. ask billy

we waited for the rest of the "expert ffs" which showed up 30 minutes later

some riders showed up but not ours, and they told me the ffs were held up because one of them got stuck

javier asked me to post this to send a message to dr and rob

finally sito showed up with the rest of the ffs

i think, at this point, dannyg decided that he will keep the bike

jeff is loyal to his color

here comes......................billy

trail side repair was needed before moving on, was that from the 1st attempt, or 2nd, or 3rd, or 4th....?

as we start moving, the richK's gs died , i will let him provide the story

after half an hour of securing connections and fuel lines, he's motoring again

that sandwich was gone quick

billy continues to enjoy drinking that strange mix

Everyone airs down, not me I've got too many flats lately, think I'll ride a little loose today.
