I don't have the 150 people, but I need to get firewood gathered, put turn signals onto the bike (again), repack the FMF, prep the trailer, take care of some house chores, damn I need a helper!

I would offer you a beer or three for all the hard work you are doing. But, I know you don't drink, so I will suffer and drink them for you.

But I won't drink the orange coolaide. I think Driverdain did. He was going to go look at an '08 530 EXC on CList.

let the adventur begins

april is a busy month.

i wonder who wants to ride to the north rim of grand canyon?

truck to mesquite, ride east to get CR-5 which will bring us south of tuweep, then to CR-115 toroweep (grand canyon np).

small and med bikes, mileage = 140 miles 1 way. we can stay at bar 10 ranch and get gas there.

how many days you think? and around what days of the month??..my big green pig really needs to stretch her legs but this would still be a very tentative thing.

i need some time off work was thinking next month would be perfect weather wise to ride just about anywhere..was originally thinking of staying in carizzo a couple days but this sounds good.

When are you planning this? I am planning on heading back up to WA in April but I would really like to see the GC before I die.

hi jeff, the plan is leave here fri noon, overnight in mesquite. ride to gc on sat. return on sunday either to st. george or mesquite. why st. george? because of limited fuel on the return ride, we need to hit the nearest town or city even though it takes us farther away from mesquite.

overnight in mesquite or st. george. go home on monday.

in short, 3 1/2 days.

mostly no pavement, my guess 140 miles to gc, and 100 miles to st. george.

pavement is from st. george to mesquite, 30 miles?

may 6, 13 or 20th are the possible starting dates.

Well, I got the van running but no jeep. You talking about this friday?? I'm still waiting on title paperwork and then I need to go to vegas for a smog check and reg it in NV, so I might be able to combine everything into a trip. But this friday would be tough
